The original 400 CI V-8 has been bored .060-inch over and was rebuilt with Seal pistons, Eagle forged steel rods and a Comp Cams Thumper camshaft. Additionally, the heads have been rebuilt with Ron’s valve guides and roller rockers and were upgraded with hardened valve seats for use with unleaded fuel. A Pertronix electronic ignition system fires the air/fuel mixture. Backing that potent powerplant is a modern Tremec 5-speed manual transmission that, teamed with the Auburn Positraction rear end with 3.73 gears, offers both thrilling acceleration as well as long-legged highway efficiency. Other features include power steering and power brakes, a new black bucket seat interior, factory air conditioning, a Formula steering wheel, a console with floor shifter, a custom Autosound AM/FM radio, dual exhaust with splitters, a Ram Air hood and intake system, Judge rear wing, factory hood tachometer, racing-style mirrors, rebuilt front suspension and PMD-style 15-inch American Racing wheels mounting Cooper Cobra GT 245/60 R15 radial tires. A mixture of old look with some modern upgrades. A great running and driving car! Please visit our website duffys.com for over 100 pictures and a video. Any questions about the car please call 319-366-7600. Thanks, Jon As always, we will consider all types of trades. Transportation is available. Why buy from us? We are one of the oldest and largest Midwest dealers who specializes in collector cars, modern muscle cars and imports. We normally have 40-90 collector cars in stock. All of our cars are handpicked purchases, not consignments, that have been evaluated for quality, value and checked over in our shop to assure drivability. These cars are available to look over, test drive and evaluate at our location, by appointment only, due to the extensive amount of travel it takes to find these vehicles. People frequently buy collector cars at auctions and have no idea what they are getting, often regretting the purchase due to issues of condition, drive-ability, paperwork, etc . We have 40+ year's experience in the automotive industry and can guide our customers through the complete purchase experience including shipping if needed. We will happily consider all types of trades including multiple trades of different types if necessary. We also will purchase restored cars and restored collections of cars. No projects wanted. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions regarding a vehicle we have for sale or a vehicle you have for sale. 319-366-7600
